Copenhagen Celtic 7 Vets enjoyed a memorable 2026 cup campaign, lifting the DAI 7s Old Boys Cup after four impressive knockout victories and securing the club's first DAI Cup triumph in 35 years.

The journey began with a 3-1 win over FC Veto, where Mat opened the scoring before Gabi struck twice to secure progression to the next round. The team followed this with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Dynamo Fremad FK in the quarter-final. Goals from Loz, Anthony, and a brace from Andrei saw Celtic come through one of the most entertaining matches of the season and book their place in the last four.

The semi-final against Half Man Half Biscuits showcased Celtic at their attacking best. A dominant 6-2 victory featured goals from Loz (2), Big Jon, Andrei, Gabi, and Matt. With goals coming from all over the pitch and another strong team performance, Celtic comfortably secured their place in the final.

The final against FC Rut provided a fitting climax to the cup run. Celtic found themselves in serious trouble at half-time, trailing 0-2 and facing an uphill battle to keep their dream alive. However, the team produced an outstanding second-half comeback that epitomized the spirit and resilience shown throughout the competition. Andrei pulled a goal back to spark the recovery, before Gabi levelled the match and shifted the momentum firmly in Celtic's favour. With the game hanging in the balance, Dom scored the decisive goal to complete a remarkable turnaround and secure a 3-2 victory sending the Celtic crowd into delirium . Assists in the final were provided by Robbie, Mat, and Big Jon. From two goals down at the interval to lifting the trophy at full time, it was a truly memorable cup final and the perfect ending to an outstanding cup campaign.
